My kids have taught me so much about my art and practice. They are all teens now, and some of my favorite times with them are when we are all making stuff in the vicinity of each other. They still "borrow" my studio to do their school art projects. I love it.
I appreciate your candor here. I would kill for grandma next door - what a dream. But I’m back to school - getting my PhD - so my daughter stays at school until 4:30 every day - it’s hard to fit it all in. And the guilt.
